All citations and references are reviewed for accuracy, consistency, and proper formatting. Each source is checked against original materials when available. I will ensure that every citation corresponds to a reference and vice versa. All updates are tracked, guided by The Chicago Manual of Style.
book club notes
If you have ever wondered what someone thinks while reading your book, this offering is for you! Your work is thoughtfully read, with notes capturing real-time reactions, reflections, and insights. These may include impressions of characters and setting, moments that stand out, predictions, and more. You will receive a collection of notes, typically around 20 double-spaced pages.
Proofreading
Your project is carefully reviewed, with attention to any remaining refinements. Suggestions are tracked, with notes included in the margins along the way. This will enable you to review the changes and complete a final read before sharing your project with the world.
Line & copyEditing
I will dive into the details of your project that bring clarity and cohesion to your writing. Edits are made to improve consistency, grammar, punctuation, readability, repetition, sentence structure, spelling, and style. All changes are tracked, with notes shared throughout the manuscript. The Chicago Manual of Style and Merriam-Webster Dictionary serve as guiding references.
Manuscript Evaluation
Your story is approached with care through a thoughtful, comprehensive read, with close attention to the big picture. Strengths are highlighted, and areas with room to grow are gently explored. You will receive a thoughtful editorial letter, typically around 15 double-spaced pages, offering guidance to help shape and strengthen your work. This offering is coming in Summer 2026.
